Prompt: Imagine you are lying asleep in bed. Then, suddenly, the doorbell rings. You check
the clock on your phone and notice it’s way too early for someone to be
visiting. You climb out of the warm bed and scuffle to the front door. You open
the door and no one is there. However, when you look down, you see an unmarked
package on the step. A strange sound is coming from inside, so you decide to
open the package and investigate. What do you find in the box, and who left
this for you?

As I opened the box, I discovered a new pajama and a little note: I know that you love hanging around with pajamas so I bought you one. –Y . At first I thought that “Y” was my cousin Yasmine but as I opened the pajama I immediately known that it was “Y” for “Youssra”. Youssra is my roommate but she is also one of my best friends, I have very good relationship with my two roommates that are part of my family now. I knew that the box was from Youssra because I told her many times that my favorite pajama in the world was one with cat ears on the top and that’s what I discovered in the box. Every day, when 7pm rings at my watch , I put on pajama, it's impossible for me to stay in tight clothes after 7pm. When I put my pajama I feel so good that I want to stay in it every second of my life. It's such an incredible feeling!

DeleteWhen I heard the doorbell I suddenly woke up and went to the door, no one was there, but a strange package was there. A really really strange sound comes from there. At the beginning I was afraid to open the box. I found some courage and then I finally decided to open the box and I started to feel my heart beating so fast. When I opened it I saw eggs and a strange little creature, it was a green thing and I wasn’t able to figure out what it was at all. I gave to it green salad and he ate it in less than one minute. I decided to let it in the box and to go and watch TV. I was sitting in the sofa and I was wondering who sent that strange thing to me. Then I thought of my cousin who lives 850 miles away from me and with who I completely broke contact since 5 years. I was looking at my phone wondering if I should call her or not. After 3 hours of hesitation, I decided not to, but I decided to call my sister and to come and visit this cousin. My sister started to ask me what makes me say that it’s her who made that. I told her that she is the only one I know which is strange enough to make those kind of things, and moreover, she’s the only one I know who likes this kind of things. After we arrived, we figured out that there was nobody in the house, but a little paper who was saying “yes, it’s me, did you think it was the last time you saw me?”, then, my sister and I thought about all the problems we had with this person. We finally decided to call her in order to meet and to talk about what’s going on. After 8 calls, she finally decided to answer, and we decided to meet at the Hard Rock Café of her home town. She was really quiet and didn’t want to acknowledge why she did that so we decided to forgive her and we promised her that we’ll stay in contact and that we will forget about our conflicts.

DeleteActually I don't care about what stuff inside in the package box. I will continue to sleep, enjoy my unfinished beautiful dream. Then, after my slept debt finished, although my body is not in proper condition after all, I decide to make hot coffee and read some newspaper. Oh I remember there was a box which is I must to open it. I take it and put in the top of my refrigerator. I am curious what stuff inside of that box, so I put it back in my hand and try to figure it out what exactly the stuff inside of the box. But, when I try to opened it, my friend calling me. He invited me to watching Sponge Bob movies, so I left that box and just go away. I watched that movie until night, and I came home. With exhausted condition I was looking for my lovely bed and pillow, and finally I can sleep. Fin.

DeleteThis day will be an unforgettable one. I was wondering who left it there all alone. The curiosity was keeling me. Who can let a baggage in front of my room, I don’t have any roommate so it’s probably for me. First I thought I won the lotto and when I will open the baggage I will find millions dollars; Few seconds after I realized how stupid I actually am since I don’t play lotto. To be honest, fear, scare and fright wasn’t a mystery for me anymore. Maybe a killer brought a head and put it there or someone left a baby there, maybe I will end up in prison just for taking up this little baggage and being the girl behind the door. However, I opened it and then I found a little lion, he was kindly sleeping making no sound. Suddenly he opened his eyes. They were so beautiful, magnificent and splendid. Shades of grey and brown were blowing up. Then his kind of roar came out from his little mouth. After wondering if he can attack me or not, I took him in my arms. His fur was so fresh and suave. Then I found a letter there. I opened it and here is what I found; “Hey My little girl it’s your uncle, this is your birthday gift. If you give him love and educate him, he will protect you until your last breath. It will help you to know if you are responsible enough. Take care of him” From that day I started carrying him for anywhere I go. It was one of the most surprising gift I’ve ever resaved.

open the door but no one was there. I was so scared. Anyhow, when I looked down, I found a
unmarked package on the step. Suddenly, I heard a strange sound from inside, so I decided to open the
package to examine. I found a small dog similar to dog that I had in the past. I was very happy because I
love dogs , also because I lost a dog the day before. It was a gift from my friend Hamza, because I found
a small paper with his name inside.

DeleteOnce I went to the door and found this box, I was very wondering to know what is inside it. So I hesitated first saying that it may contain something hazardous. However after squandering one minute of my time, I made up my mind and chose to open it be that as it may, I would accept the outcome. So I started open it slowly until I can see the hidden stuff. Unfortunately, all my excitement went awry and I saw another small heavy box covering something inside it which just rained on my parade. Despite this impediment, I tried to do another attempt or otherwise I know that it will cause me a headache thinking of it for hours on end. Luckily, the second attempt was successful and I could not imagine that I found a small pen on the box. So I just ignored it and threw it behind me, but after I heard the sound of it on the floor, I turned back and I saw a magical colossal screen displaying all events occurred in my life since my birth. Then I realized that this was a present from my mother because she alluded before that she will bring me a unique gift if I do for her chores this week since she was traveling. Hence, I was very ecstatic to watch my throwbacks regardless of the shaming situations that I was involved in sometimes.

DeleteA weird noise was coming from the box, it sounded like a paper being printed. So I opened the box, and all it contained was a letter. I was more curious about what that letter might contain than afraid of all the strangeness happening. When I picked up the letter, the first thing I noticed was what was written in the back; it said that the letter was sent ten years from the future, and from someone whose name is similar to mine. I immediately though that it was a bad joke from my brother, but my curiosity made me read the letter anyway. After reading the first paragraph I started believing that the whole thing might be true, because it said some things that happened to me when I was a kid, and I have never told anyone about them. The rest of the letter was instructions I had to follow to succeed in life, and to prevent my death in ten years.

DeleteWhen I opened the door and saw that no one was there, I thought that my imagination was playing tricks on me. Then when I looked down, I saw that big package lying on the step of my door. I decided to swallow my fear and open it to see what was making those weird sounds inside. First, I checked if there were someone’s name, or address, but nothing! It was unmarked. After that, I opened the box and see my little pet “nyù” which I have lost many months before. I was very delighted to see it again and to feel its smooth fur against my skin, when a thunder woke me up and I realized that it was just a dream.

DeleteIt’s a Saturday afternoon, in the middle of December. I was lying in my sofa covered with a big warm blanket that matches the weather’s theme. Hot earl grey tea in my favorite mug warming my frizzy hands. This is my typical stress-free moments. As I was watching my favorite serial Pretty Little Liars, I’ve heard the doorbell ring. So strange I wasn’t expecting anyone and people don’t come without letting me know. I was so curious that I jumped of my couch and hurried to feed my curiosity. Once I’ve opened the door no one was their except a box that was in the steps. I just tried to ignore it, when a sound came out from the box, it freaked me to death. I was so scared my brain couldn’t work properly enough that I couldn’t take any decision; open the box, don’t open the box. Two sentences that kept repeating in my mind. I’ve gathered all my strength and decided to take the box to my house and open it. Once I unpacked the package a bright light came out it pushed me so hard that I wasn’t conscious anymore. When I opened my eyes I found myself in a land where cherry blossom trees were everywhere and few people walking next to me wearing weird clothes but it seems that no one could see me. It took me few minutes to analyze that I wasn’t in my home or in my country anymore I’m in a different period of time. The box a gate to a different world!
