After reading the results of the quiz, decide if you agree with the quiz's answer. Do you like the city? What do you like about the idea of the city? What subjects would you study? Where would you go and what would you do in your free time. If you disagree with the results, tell me why and choose another city that you'd prefer to study abroad in. Then, tell me why you chose that city and what you'd do there in your free time and what you'd study.
Your response should be one complete paragraph (8-10 sentence). Please regard you punctuation, sentence structure, capitalization, spelling, and vocabulary use. Although this is creative writing, it is still academic. This blog post is due no later than midnight tonight, Wednesday, Nov. 25th.
The result of the quiz is India. Seriously, i don't like India at all. I prefer to study in Italy, especially Rome. It's an amazing city. I'd love to go and study International studies there. It's a great thing to go to Rome to study. In "Roma" you can find nice people, good food, and nice places to visit. For example, in my free time, I'd like to go to the stadium and watch Rome's football match, hang out in its beautiful streets, and visit its museums of the Roman Empire.
ReplyDeleteRome is a good choice!
DeleteThe result of the quiz is Barcelona. I totally agree with the result because I already had in my mind to study in this city . I like in Barcelona the way of life; they are always partying . Also, the Barcelona football team ; I want to watch them live. I would study Photography because Barcelona is full of historical monuments. In addition, I would study Spanish culture because I'm interested to know their history since they are our neighbors.I would visit the Camp Nou ; the official stadium of the Barcelona football team. Also, all the nights club in the city .
ReplyDeleteI've been to Camp Nou; it's really awesome.
DeleteI got Italy. I really love this country. I never had the chance to visit it so would love to go for an exchange. It has good people, good music , and nice people the perfect combo ! I also prefer to focus on somthing instead of doing a lot of things in the same time. My motto is : “quality over quantity.”. And from the result of the quizz, I discovered that both of italian people and me have the same ennemy, the morning people! Finally i'm a big fan of pasta and pizza and it happens to be most common italian food.
ReplyDeleteAll the pizza, all the pastas!
DeleteLiving in Italy should be a wonderful idea. It is true that I love my family, and my friends are a priority for me. I love good food and good music but not necessary wine. I’m a sociable person, I like to have contact with other people. I don’t like people who speak without saying anything, this is why I prefer quality to quantity. Concerning pasta, it is pretty much true that I really love it, but not to the point of living off of it. Otherwise, I like to taste different meals and flavor. As Italy is famous for its luxurious brand and culture, I would really like to study “luxury marketing “, which is the marketing of luxury product. To sum up, I can affirm that the result of the quiz is true, and I will love to study in Italy .
ReplyDeleteIf you like luxury marketing, you should study in Milano!
DeleteIf we asked me to choose a country where I’d be interested in studying abroad or in traveling, I would choose Thailand. This country dream is, such as me, a mix of relaxation and partying. The other reasons why I don’t like but love Thailand are its beautiful beaches and the island spirit where I only imagine myself in. Due to such a living environment, your grades seem to increase. That is why I would take four of the hardest classes of General Engineering to pursue my university program. In addition to studies, I would also visit Thailand’s famous temples, starting from the Wat Phra Kaew. Moreover, Paton Beach in Phuket seems to be a great place to get an awesome tan. Finally, according to what people say, Thailand’s natives are as generous as they are well living people. I feel like I am going to have a great time there!
ReplyDeleteStudy abroad on the beach; not a bad idea.
DeleteAfter taking the test, I think that i mostly agree with result. I do believe I'm sassy in the best way. But I wont pick Paris as a destination to study abroad in. I do like Paris, but only as a holiday destination. I think that if I had the choice, I would have chosen Germany to study abroad in, because it is a melting pot where all the cultures mix in, in a harmony. For the city, it doesn't really matter, because I believe that every city over there is beautiful and worth visiting. I would have taking medicine as a major, since it was my dream since I was eight years old. I think that I would have spent most of my free time outdoors, discovering the beautiful monuments of this amazing city. All in all, if I went there to study abroad, i would seized every chance to enjoy my stay there and gain experience.
ReplyDeleteI've heard Berlin is a great to study and have fun in your 20s. Go there!
DeleteBefore taking the test, I was thinking about New York. After respondig to the quiz, Igot Italy. I think that Italy is also a good destination for me to study abroad. The problem that I would face there is the language, it is difficult. The courses that I would take there are music and Italian. In my free time, I will go to watch soccer in the staduim, especially Milan. In addition, I like pasta and my dream is to eat italian pasta in Italy. I think that it will be a good experience for me to study abroad in Italy, and I think that I will love it .
ReplyDeleteI think you'd learn Italian language quickly. No worries.
DeleteI got Amsterdam. I think it does represent me in the best possible way. I am actually a really caring person with a lovely personnality when people get to know me better. I am really passionate in many fields. And for sure I take rarely things seriously, I have fun as much as possible. I enjoy being far from the world and stay away from people for a long time. I like at the same time learning stuff and become better in other fields. Luckily, Amsterdam can do both and as Buzzfeed says: "Pick up some orange clothing and grab a lighter for your blunt !".
ReplyDeleteEat all the space cookies and all the edam cheese!
DeleteMexico is a city where I would love to live in. It is fresh, young and adventurous, even if it is sometimes dangerous. I would love to take Mexican History, Human Rights and Spanish to study there. Mexico is a historically rich city, so I would love to visit museums, temples and bazars. Football is a big part of the Mexican culture, so it is a big plus for me. Hanging out on the beach with friends and getting crazy over a party would be the perfect activities for me. I think Mexico is the perfect destination for me to study abroad, even thought the danger is here.I feel like I am going to have the time of my life there !
ReplyDeleteI think you'd like the lifestyle, climate, and food of Mexico too!
DeleteIf I were ask to choose a country where I’d be interested in studying abroad.I would choose Italy. In this country there are lot of universities even, the best ones in the whole world.Since I was young; my dream was to study there.I love their style life and everything about it.Studying there is a good opportunity for me and for everyone because it's a powerful country.I watched a lot of documentaries about studies in Italy and I loved them because they show their campus life and also their hospitality. I went in Italy for summer and I was amazed.Italy is so romantic and great. I felt in love with this country since I was born.Italy has a lot of things to teach so If they ask me I will choose Italy without any doubt. All in all, if I went there to study abroad, i would seized every chance to enjoy my stay there and gain experience.
ReplyDeleteThere is a city in Italy called Bologna. It's where some of the best Italian universities are. It's a great town to be young and explore difficult cultures and eat pasta (it's where bolognais sauce comes from)!
DeleteI took the test and I got Barcelona. I totally agree with this result because I love this city. People don’t get up early, especially the weekend. In addition to that, they know how to make parties. Spain is a Mediterranean, they have almost the same mentality as Moroccans. I am a fan of FC Barcelona, and I always wanted to see a game in the Camp Nou stadium, they say that it is like a gladiator arena: the ambience is superb. I think that the only obstacle is the language, but it can be easily surpassed by learning Spanish in parallel with my courses. Lastly, Barcelona is a very beautiful city, and I would love to go study abroad there.
ReplyDeleteI've been to Camp Nou and it's just as cool as you might think. It's so huge!
DeleteAfter taking the quiz , I think that I'm almost happy by the result .I think that Italy is a fabulous country. I would be very happy to be their especially because it's known for good people, good music, and good food I really like the idea. For the city I would be more then happy if I will be in Rome .It's an amazing city ,I will never fell bored with all the places that we can visit their. Furthermore, I love Italian food and his good teats .I think it would be a great destination for studding. to sum up , I will be so happy if I have the chance to go for an exchange to Italy, and I will enjoy every day in this beautiful country .
ReplyDeleteRome is cool, but I think you'd really love Milano or Bologna, too!
DeleteIf I had to choose a country to study abroad, Mexico wouldn’t be my first choice because of its excessive humid climate; my curls wouldn’t resist. However, Mexico seems to me like an appealing country from what I know from it. From its magisterial beaches where you can relax to its dense forests where you can get out the explorer in you, Mexico offers you the necessary diversity to discover new surroundings. Also, Mexico has magical cultural monuments from the ancestors of the country, an awesome heritage that has been passed through the centuries that provoke admiration. Besides, Mexican people seem to be as warm as Moroccan people, and since I speak Spanish fluently, communication wouldn’t be an obstacle. Nevertheless, I wouldn’t go to Mexico to study but for holidays. Rather than tropical and exotic countries, I would prefer to study abroad in countries that are known for the educational sources that they offer, as South Korea. I would like to study in South Korea because although it’s a quite new country, it has developed at immense steps in all the fields. The reason that makes me attracted to this country is that its advertisement and marketing sector is very innovative and creative. Thus, South Korea would be my choice if I had to study abroad to expand my knowledge in marketing.
ReplyDeleteI think you'd like Seoul, SK. You should visit some time.
DeleteAfter taking the test, the result was Buenos Aires. Personally i think that Buenos Aires is not a bad destination. Hopefully I like south american culture, and I think that studying in the cultural city of Argentina is not a bad experience. studying abroad during my university career in Buenos Aires can have a very good impact on my studies. Personally i like hot cities and Buenos Aires is one of them.I woulde maybe take the same major as now business Administration. I think that i will probably passe passe the majority of my time travelling around the country discovering the culture and those citizens. The other reason why I think that Buenos Aires is a good destination, is because its not just a touristic city, but also I city with a high level of education and where the universities are independent and worldwide recognized. I will probably seized my chance if i have the occasion to study there and i am sure that it will be an amazing experience.
ReplyDeleteIt's a big city and there are tons of fun discos and night clubs. I think you'd like it.
DeleteI got Thailand in the quiz and I am still shocked by this result. I totally disagree with that because Thailand is really not a country than I can stand for more than two weeks. It has a large lack of infrastructure, and all what is good in it is its dream beaches. In addition to that, I hate Thai food and all what resembles to it. Instead of Thailand, I would rather go to England, especially London. It is known for its very reputed universities, where advanced research are done in computer science. Also, this city offers a lot of entertaining activities like visiting museums and historical monuments or simply going shopping. Finally, I easily imagine myself studying in London than in Thailand.
ReplyDeleteI think London would be a great place to study, but the weather is better in Thailand!
DeleteI got the capital city of Germany, Berlin. It is a beautiful city with alot of stuff and places to explore. I surely agree with the buzzfeed quiz, and the details it gave me. Germany is where the origins of nazy. So basically if I am going to study there, i would totally go with politics, so i can learn more stuff about the old system and the current one. Moving to my free time, Berlin is a big wonderful city with alot of places to go and alot of activities to do. In addition to its interesting places, Berlin has the highest security system a country can have. This is where a person makes sure that nothing can happen to him while walking down Berlin's streets at 3AM. Also, Berlin citizens are nice, which is a good opportunity for me to meet new persons. Without forgetting the big advantage of learning the Deutch language. Finally, leaving to Berlin is a great idea that I would consider in the near future.
ReplyDeleteI got Berlin, too. We should meet up there someday!
DeleteAfter taking the Buzzfeed quiz “where should you actually study abroad.” My result turned out to be the most famous country known with its unique and best restaurants in the whole world. It was none other than Italy. I would totally agree with studying abroad in one of the most magnificent cities of Italy. This country is well-known with its tasty and ancient culture and amazing background in the world’s restoration. It is the perfect place where a student can enjoy delicious plates and discover new flavors that he might have never experienced before. Also, the people there are very helpful and kind. I suppose that racism doesn’t exist in their culture; everyone is here to help the other. They believe that God have created us to cooperate with each other and help anyone else whoever was his nationality or gender or race. Italy is also known for its highly qualified teachers in all the universities of business administration, as it is my major, and has a very high status in the worldwide classification of well-known universities in the whole world. In addition to food and the highly considered quality of the educational system, Italian cities are full of fun places. You can go wherever you want whenever you want as well. This might help university students break the routine of school and cheer up if they are in a bad mood or suffer from some difficulties in social life or their studies. To sum up, I think that Italy is one of the best choices to make if you have the idea of studying abroad, I would really think about it and make it happen. It is a dream I have been thinking about realizing a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteI think you'd love the art, the culture, and the warm people in northern Italy. it's very chic and sophisticated. A city like Florence would be a dream for you.
DeleteMy result in the quiz was Amsterdam. I agree with this result, I believe that I’m easy going as the city. Amsterdam is full of crazy things such as smoking weed freely. I like the feeling of living in such freedom, it is original. It is different from the culture of Morocco. The idea of trying new things and living above the water is exciting. In addition, I would really be happy if I study there. It has many advantages to study there, many courses are taught in English. If I had to choose courses, I will study Dutch, Finance, Mathematics and Accounting. In my free time, I can go see a band in one of the town’s famous music venue. Also, I can hang out with my friends in some cool clubs, restaurants, cafes, shops or the famous museum. You can never be bored in this city with beautiful facades.
ReplyDeleteI think you'd like Amsterdam a lot. It's more than just weed and parties. There is a great history, beauty, and culture to this city.
DeleteAfter taking the quiz, I wasn’t really satisfied of the result, because, it said that I should go to study in Tel Aviv. I had never imagined that I could study there. Some say that there are very famous clubs where we can have fun. But the purpose of going there is not to have fun, or meet as much people as I can; the purpose is to study very hard which is definitely not possible since the difference between Morocco and Tel Aviv is huge and, I will want to discover new thing. I don’t think that I may be capable of holding myself in front of all the new abstractions that i’ll have the opportunity to try for the first time, while if I keep studying in Morocco I can keep my habits going on the same way and do the best I can to have the best grades, in order to have wonderful vacations later in places such as Tel Aviv. To sum up, Tel Aviv is certainly not the best destination to be accorded to me since I won’t focus on my studies only, and will propbably have a low gpa.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Tel Aviv is not for you; maybe you'd be better in a place Durham in England. It's very isolated, like Ifrane, so you could really focus on your studies.
DeleteAmsterdam is the city that I got as a result. I love Amsterdam. it is a beautiful city to live in. the whether, the ambiance they are just perfect. People of Amsterdam are known for they're sympathy, although for their generosity. I will also enjoy the fact of being very far from home, and from my county. Being lonely in a new city. Kind of having an exciting adventure. however meeting some new people, learning how to live in a different culture, experiencing a different way of living would be a such great experience.
ReplyDeleteI bet you'd enjoy Amsterdam very much.
DeleteSince I came to AUI, I couldn’t stop myself of thinking about where I am going to apply for my exchange program. Exchange program is one of the most amazing experiences that helps you in your future life. After taking the test, I was assigned to live in Mexico. Nervertheless, I have never thought about living there, it was certainly unexpected. In my persepective, Mexico seems a dangerous country, even if it is rich culturally and historically but I saw a lot of documentaries that show the bad side of Mexico. Unfortunatly, I don’t see myself doing an exchange there. On the other side, I would love to go to Germany, I love cities that mixed modernity and history.
ReplyDeleteMexico isn't so dangerous, not in every city. I think you'd like many cities in Mexico, like Puerto Vallarta. But if you do study in Germany, go to Berlin!
DeleteMy quiz result was Buenos Aires. I think that's a good choice. I'm a person who like loud parties, adventures and having fun.If i go study there, i will chose to study international hotel management. Choosing this major is related to my love to tourism industry.Actually, i will not focus only on studies.Studying abroad necessitate discovering the beauty of the country and also having fun ,so i will balance between studying and having fun.
ReplyDeleteYou'd fit right in down in BA
DeleteI got Buenos Aires as a result. It is the capital of a country I have always wanted to visit, Argentina. This country has a wonderful culture known for the famous dance Tango that had been exported all over the world. Argentinians believe that they were born to dance. In addition to that, Argentina is really various and cosmopolite; its inhabitants treat everyone kindly, and are really open minded. If ever I go there, I would study history and political science to know more things about Latino American countries. Also, I’m curious and adventuresome, so I would visit Iguazu falls and colored streets of the old city. . Finally, I totally agree with the result I got, because I love discovering new cultures and perspectives.
ReplyDeleteI think BA would be great city for you, plus you already know Spanish.
DeleteI got the best city in the world Paris.People their are so classy, and respectful. The building are huge, and the victorian design make my crazy.I love the weather ,and the rain in Paris streets is wonderful. If I study in Paris I will join the science-po university, but I want to study in english. So i will find a major in American politics .I will spend all my money ,and time in restaurant.I can't live without the Parisian food. Also in Paris the champ elysée is the best place to do shopping, even my best designer "Elie Saab " is inspired by the charm of the entourage. In fact what's encourage me that I have a lot of friends in paris ,so i will not be alone .
ReplyDeleteWill you be shopping abroad or studying abroad - or both?
DeleteNo I don't agree with the quiz. For me, If I have the chance to study abroad, I would choose Italy. I would choose it because I would like to know more about the rich culture there. Italy is a country that receives a lot of tourists as well as students every year. So there, I would like to study business administration and benefit from the fact that Italy is in the schengen area to learn about the european economy. And of course, I would learn italian by socializing with people there. In my free time, I would like to visit Roma, Milano and Napoli as well as visiting a lot of monuments like the Pisa tower. Also, I would like to see the mediterranean coast and take a lot of pictures. Finally, I would like to know more about the italian life and italian people.
ReplyDeleteI suggest that you look at places in northern Italy like Bologna, Parma, Pisa, and Milano. You'd like the culture, the food, and the warm people.
DeleteAccording to the quiz, I should study in London. Actually, I totally agree with London because it was always my goal. After finishing, high school I applied for several universities there, and I got accepted. However, some family problems prevented me from going. London is great city to live and study. Also, it gives you a great opportunity to work. Therefore, I hope i can do my master there.
ReplyDeleteMaybe one day, you will finally get the chance to study in London.
DeleteI got Mexico, a beautiful city in latin America, It’s the capital of arts, museums, music, sports, and spicy food. It’s also known for the high quality of it’s high education.
ReplyDeleteSpending a semester there studying abroad as an exchange student can be a pretty good experience. I personally would like to try it.
I would stay there for a semester to study art or humanitys sciences, because mexico has a very interesting history full of art.
I’ll go there with my friends not only to study but also to visit the hole contry. We ‘ll try to discover the culute in a lot of ways. Mexico is also known for the spicy food and the good cuisine, and I’m fun of it. We can also go shopping and partiying every night.
Mexico can be a good experiance, I would go there without any hesitation.
I think you'd love the food in Mexico - tamales, guacamole, tacos, and Mexican tortillas. It's such lively country with some many different cultures and diverse cities.
