Valentine's Day Escape Plan
As many of you may know, Valentine's Day is an international holiday that focuses on the sharing of love and kindness to the people around you. This holiday is coming up this weekend on February 14th. So, for this blog, the prompt will be Valentine's Day-themed.

I was so hopeless on Valentine's Day that my best friend pushed me to go on a blind date. After refusing the idea more than twice I decided to find my Valentin. Everything was perfect, the guy was really cute and we were having fun together. My best friend and I had that saving plan in case I wasn't satisfied by his look. She was supposed to call me and pretend being in trouble. Unfortunately, she was in a real trouble. She was about to give birth. I jump up from my chair and I started running over the restaurant full of cute couples. He followed me trying to understand what was happening but in vain, I was already in my car. I finished my Valentine's Day with my best friend and her cute little daughter. I've never saw the guy of the blind date since that day. Happy Valentine's Day they said.

ReplyDeleteOn Saturday, my best friend arranged a date for me for the Valentine’s Day. She didn't provide any information about the guy that I was going to meet except that he’s good looking and I will really enjoy it. Eventually, I went on the blind date. When I arrived to the restaurant, I was so surprised to find out that my valentine is actually my crush. I was so happy and excited about how the date will go. I have already asked my friend to call me at 9:30 sharp to help me escape from the guy in case I didn’t like him. Asmae has called at 9:30 punctually telling me that she has an emergency. I told her “I already took care of that” since the date was going perfectly good, but she told that she is serious, and she really has a big issue. I could barely hear what she was saying because she was talking very quietly and slowly. I immediately guessed that she is probably sick, so I did what any friend should do. I explained to the guy that my best friend is sick and needs my help more than any time. The man was so comprehensible and gentleman. He escorted me to the campus and helped me get the medicines my friend needed. Fortunately, we came on time and helped Asmae get better. I had a great time even if my friend had an emergency and was about to ruin my day.

ReplyDeleteI was there sitting next to this amazing guy. I never thought that I would be so open and so easy to talk with a guy that I didn't know before. My friend Ruby organized this date, and to be honest I was very anxious about it because she isn’t the kind of girl who try to know a lot about guys before dating them unlike me. Despite that, I went to the date, and here I am now having the best date I ever had with this surprising and mysterious guy named Derek. Suddenly, my phone rang. It was Ruby; she was calling me telling me that it was an emergency. At first, I thought she was kidding, and that she thought I was having a bad time. Then, I told her that everything was ok, and that I will meet her in few hours, but her breathe was going faster and faster, and the last thing I heard is she screaming and calling for help. I jumped out of my seat, and told Derek that something very bad was happening to Ruby. Therefore, he decided to come with me. In this precise moment, I felt in love with this man. He wasn't just a special guy anymore; he was the perfect man.

By 9:30 p.m., and while we were having our dinner, my best friend called and said to me that he has a serious problem which is: her mother is very sick and he should take her to the hospital with my car. At that time, I stood up, said to my girlfriend that my friend has an urgent problem and I must help him. She happily told me – “Ok, Baby”. I immediately went to my friend’s house which it wasn’t too far from the restaurant, and we took his mother to a clinic. He was very afraid until the doctor checked her mother and said to us that there is nothing bad, but she have to stay this night in the clinic.

DeleteValentin's day is this weekend therefore my friend Liz set a blind date for me. I had no idea who he was aside from his name: Mark. I was so scared the date might go wrong that I made a deal with her. We decided that she will call me at 9:30 and if the date goes badly I will tell him that she has an emergency so I can leave. The date went well but unfortunately when Liz called, she had a real emergency. She fell from the stars and couldn't move luckily she had her phone on her. I had to go take her to the hospital. For once that a date was going well for me something had to happen. I told him what happened, so he proposed to take me with his car so we can take her to the hospital as soon as possible. 15 minutes later we were with her in the hospital, she broke her leg so they had to put her a plaster. Mark proposed to go eat some ice-cream the three of us. It was delicious and we laughed so hard. I though that my date was over but I was surprise how beautiful it end up to be.

ReplyDeleteIt was always hard for me to say goodbye especially to someone I do really like. I remember that night when I went on a blind date with a super nice guy for Valentine, everything was perfect until I received a call from my best friend. At first, I thought she was calling to ask about how was the date going but when I answered, she couldn’t stop screaming. Unfortunately, she was preparing dinner and instead of cutting into a lime, she cut into two of her fingers. She said that the bleeding wouldn’t stop and it was hurting her so badly. I was forced to leave this beautiful place and company because I’m the only one who she can rely on and I promised her once that I will never let her down. So I decided to pick up my best friend to a hospital. By the end of the night, I found a piece of paper on my pocket with the number of the guy and a very romantic note. Also, my friend felt great and she didn't stop thanking me. Well, that what friends are supposed to do.

ReplyDeleteOn the 14th February, I took my girlfriend to a French restaurant next to my house. We were waiting for the waiter to bring us our dish when suddenly my phone started ringing. It was my best friend. I answered and asked him how his date was going. he told me that he had an accident, and that he is blocked there with his girlfriend. I told him to stay where he was. I jumped in my car with my girlfriend and went to help him. When I arrived there, I fixed the problem between my best friend and the other man because I work in insurances. Then, I took my girlfriend, my best friend and his girlfriend to the restaurant next to me to have a nice diner together.

DeleteOn the 14 February 2014, I had been set up for a blind date. it was an experience I've never done before so I had doubt of how the date will work out, so in order to support me, my best friend decided to plan an escape plan in case the date was a loser by calling me at 9:30 and pretending she had an emergency .Unfortunately, my friend calls a little earlier than 9:30 with a shaky voice telling me that she heard noises coming from downstairs and it might be a thief breaking to her house while her parents are out on a date. She was scared and lost with no idea what to do, I told her to stay in her room and try to be quit waiting for help. Even when the date was going so well. I excused myself and took the first taxi to her place. I also tried calling 911 on the way but they didn't seem to take my request seriously. As many bored teens have tried pranking them before on Valentine’s Day. Arriving at her place the living room’s light was switched on .So not wanting to take risks I went the neighbor’s door and called for help .It was a young man in his twenties and he seemed quit troubled by my sudden appearance .we then decided to bring his speakers and play the police sirens sound to scare the thief, maybe after hearing them he would run away .Thankfully, as planned we saw the thief running away and filmed the scene to take it to the police department afterwards .So I ran to my friends room and I found her shaking under her bed tried comforting her with “it’s okay” , “don’t worry” ,yet her tears kept falling until she slept out of tiredness .Sad ending of such a romantic day I went out of her house after making sure the doors and windows were securely closed ,and started looking for taxi back home. I found the young neighbor waiting for me in his car suggesting to take me back home I thanked him for his kind act .And asked why isn't he on a date in this very special day, he replied by an answer that made me truly respect him and change my depressing idea “my day wasn't a fail after all isn't valentine all about sharing kindness and love “.

DeleteAs it is the Valentine’s Day, I decided to share with you my worst and best experience blind date at the same time. I went on a blind date for Valentine’s Day. I met that that guy, he was nice and I really liked him. The date was a dinner. It went really well; we exchanged some ideas about us and we found that we had too many things in common. Everything was going well as I expected until I got an urgent call from my friend and I had to help him. His was alone at home and I was the only one that can help him. At that time, I apologized and claimed to the guy that my friend has an emergency and I had to leave. He had eaten something bad and had an intoxication. I went home and drove him to the hospital. I was very afraid that something bad would happen to him. He was suffering a lot. It was my first and last blind date. Since that day I never talked to the guy again. I considered him as a bad luck and the worst experience.

Delete24 hours before the valentine's day, I had no soul mate to share this great day with. My best friend had the idea of planning a blind date for me with a beautiful girl. Hopeless, I accepted his request and told him to set a meeting in a romantic restaurant in order to feel comfortable with that girl; but one of the main rules was to receive a phone call from him at 9:30 acting like he has an emergency to leave the girl if the date is going bad or to stay otherwise. As we planned, I met that girl in a very nice restaurant, she was so beautiful and so smart; I really enjoyed her company, we laughed very much, she's so funny. My friend Moncef called me at 9:30 telling me that he had a car crash and that he needs help, I answered with " Don't worry, I already took care of that ". He replies crying that he is so serious about it and that he is deeply injured. I trusted him, apologized from the girl, explained to her what's happening with my best friend and went to rescue him.

DeleteOn the 14th February, I went to a blind date in one of my best restaurant. The guy was handsome and very cultivated. He was the kind of boy that you will never be bored with. As planned, my friend had to call me and see if everything was good. She was supposed to act like if she had an emergency, but she actually had a real one. She fell and couldn't walk, so I had to take her to the hospital. When I told him that I really need to go, he didn't propose to go with me, so I left him and went to my friend's house. Unfortunately, he wasn't that kind. We didn't see each other since that day.

DeleteA blind date is a time for people to meet a new person and to get out of the house. Personally I don t like going on a blind date because I never know what the girl is like; and we have never meet each other before go on this date. However, the last Valentine’s Day my best friend tried to set up a blind date for me. I totally refused the idea, but he was very excited about the date that I couldn’t disappoint him. However, we made a deal that he will call me at 9.30 and if I disliked the date I will leave saying that my friend has an emergency. Actually, this is what happened exactly, but the real surprise is that my friend was really in an emergency room in hospital due to car accident.

ReplyDeleteMy friend Laila went through the funniest, creepiest and the weirdest blind date ever. Her friends made her go out on a date with a completely stranger that they found on the internet. On his blind dates website profile, he wrote that his name is Murad. He is 26 years old and it’s his last year in university. And he sent to Laila’s friends pictures of him looking like a nice young man. So they were convinced that he is perfectly good for Laila. Furthermore, they made a date with him so he can meet Laila on Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day came; Laila and her friends were exited for the date. Laila’s friends planned to sit at the same restaurant so they can keep an eye on her. But as soon as Laila walked into the restaurant. She found out that Murad was an old man sitting on the table that they reserved. He stood up to greet her, but she ran away with her friends and never went back to that restaurant.

My friend had prepared everything for me in my favorite restaurant which is a known place to celebrate occasions so that I can enjoy the night as much as I could. When I arrived, I saw the most beautiful girl I have never seen; then I sit beside her , and we started talking about each other. We were not only attracted physically, but also mentally , and we had a lot of common things. Suddenly, I got a call from my friend who had a final the next day, and he told me to come because he had broken the key of his room in the door. At that moment , I took my stuff , and i ran to help him without saying anything to the beautiful girl. I went to bring a scale to my friend , and he got off so that he can attend his final exam. Since that day , I have never seen again this mysterious girl.

I think that we don’t have to wait until the 14thFebruary to show our love to the loved one. However, my best friend convince me to celebrate it. For that, he arranged me a blind date with a girl. I was afraid to be disappointed at the sight of the girl. My best friend and I decided that he will call me at 9:30 and if the date goes badly I will tell to the girl that he has an emergency so I can leave. During the meeting, everything was going well. He called me at 9:30 and say him that everything was ok. He told that he was on a really emergency, he did a car accident no so far than the restaurant where I was. I told it to the girl and she insisted to come with me and I really appreciate it. Thankfully, my best friend had nothing serious. I’m still with that girl until now

ReplyDeleteLast saturday was Valentine’s day. My friend Hamza was going out with his girl friend. I told him that I prefer to stay at home, and watch a movie since I was single. Hamza is my best friend so he decided to find a girl for me to go out with. I agreed since I was excited for that date. It was the first time I go to a blind date, so I thought that it would be an interesting experience. He gave a number. I talked to the girl who seemed to be interested, so we agreed to take the dinner together saturday evening. I didn’t want to spend the night with a girl that I would not like, so I told Hamza to call me just in case. The girl was on time. She was pretty. After few minutes, Hamza called me. I told him that I already took care of that. That was our password to say that everything was fine. I thought that things would be funny with this girl, but I didn’t expect what was coming. I recognized that I have seen her somewhere before, but I couldn’t remember where. I asked her few questions, and I realised that I have met her before in a pub. I have left her without saying a word after spending the night with her. I didn’t know if she had remembered me or not, but I called Hamza immediately, and told her that my friend have an emergency. I left her again without saying a single word. To sum up, my Valentine’s day was a fiasco, but I prefer that it has ended like that rather than to carry on in this relationship.

ReplyDeleteThat was a special valentine’s day. I don’t usually go on blind dates, but after my friend insisted on that I agreed. My friend and I had a deal. We agreed that he would call me at 9:30pm, and if the date was going good, I would say “I took care of that”. But if the date was going bad, I would claim that he had an emergency and apologize. I went on that date. It was a dinner. I really liked the girl. She was beautiful, kind, and I really liked her mentality. We had a very long and good conversation. At 9:00pm my friend called me. That was strange, we have agreed on 9:30pm. I took the call and started to talk with him. I said:” I took care of that”. He told me that I had to come immediately; the apartment was on fire! That was reason enough to leave. I apologized to the girl and left. The second most thing that I still feel sorry about, after the fact of losing many things in the apartment, is that I didn’t take her phone number and never seen her again.

ReplyDeleteTwo weeks ago, my best friend arranged me a blind date for Valentine’s day. Since I was not familiar with this kind of dates, I was extremely nervous. To make me feel more confident, my best friend proposed to call me at exactly 9:30 to make sure that everything is going well. Otherwise, we will pretend that he has a problem so that I can leave the date. The day of the date came, and everything was going well. The guy was extremely nice and charming. We was talking together, until my phone started to ring. I answer telling that “I already took care of that.” Unfortunately, it was not my best friend. The call was from the hospital. It was to tell me that my best friend had a bad accident. I stand up without saying a word, and I went directly to the hospital. It was the last time I saw my date.

DeleteEverything was going well it was my first experience, and I can say that it was the best. I cannot deny that my idea about blind dates was so negative, and if my friend didn’t push me to try I would never had the courage to try such a thing. But once I found myself in front of him it was normal as every meeting. As I was scared before going, to comfort my friend suggested to call me during the day to see how it’s going. It was better than my expectations, and things have passed from an unknown to a friend. It was almost an hour before the end of our date and this made me sad I wanted it to be the best of ending. And as the cherry on the cake, my friend called me but not as we planned for. It was not the voice of my friend I could recognize it from the hello. It was the emergencies, my friend has a blood pressure problem and it's been a couple of weeks it does not take her medicines and the result was losing conscious in the hall of her building .I was aware of her state ,so I could not wait I had to go and see her . I was so scared at the same time I was afraid of losing this wonderful guy, and I could not leave everything fell I made the clever and I asked him to go with me. He agreed once my friend started feeling ok he left, but before that we had the chance to hold a second date.

ReplyDeleteGoing on a blind date has never been an interesting idea for me. That is not the case for my friend, she likes trying every single thing, and somehow she persuaded me to go on blind date. As planned, I went to meet my unknown date. I did not expect to get along with him like that, because we had so much in common. He likes everything that has something to do with the universe and galaxies, so do I. We were discussing a book that both of us have read, I have lost the notion of time, until my phone rung. Somehow I forgot about my friend calling me in case the date was not going well. I answered the call and heard my friend from the other line crying so hard, I couldn't even recognize her voice neither what she was trying to say, all I heard is “I need you by my side”. I stood up immediately and explained things to my date, he suggested to come with me, I didn't refuse. Once I arrived to my friend’s home I saw her eyes red and full of tears then she told me that her grandma died. I was shocked I didn't know what to say or how to react. Her grandma was a super nice person to everyone including me. I stayed with her that night and tried to sustain her to get over it. My date called me later and we are still in contact with each other.

ReplyDeleteLast year I decided to arrange a date in valentine's day for my best friend Sara. She was very exited because she didn't know anything about the guy that she was going to meet. When sara arrived to the restaurant she was so stressed and shy because it was her first blind date . when she met guy she was surprised because he was her boyfriend 3 years ago even though they broke up they still have feellings for each other . and for this reason I decided to make their relationship start over . At the begining it was a little bit awkward but a few minutes later, all this discomfort has gone. To sum up they had fun and after diner he offered her chocolate and when sara came back home she was so happy. And so thankful for what I did.

ReplyDeleteOne day before valentine's day I lost a bet with my best friend. I had as a pledge to make a blind date. The concept was simple and fun so I accepted the pledge. The next morning, everything was planned to pass a pleasant evening to a close detail, I did not know the girl. I knew his name, age and where she lived but not how she was looking. It was decided in advance that my friend would call me at 21:30 to see if everything was okay. Once there, I started to wait for the girl. finally she came. She was elegant and beautiful. Brune with a perfect size. We started discussing. I did not see the time passing so I spent a good time. For over an hour, we talked incessantly. Then the time for the call came. My friend called me, I told him that everything was okay. However, he had a problem. He had been hit by a car and was injured. I had no choice I had to go help him. One rule was to get our friendship before our loving crushes. I still even bothered to take his number before I gone to stay in touch with her.

ReplyDeleteThere were a few gathering spots we examined, and we choose that the nearby bar would be alright to meet and that we would go to the cinema after.
The following day we had a couple of beverages, we talked, chuckled, and we had an early supper. Toward the end of the meal, I requested more drink for both of us. she had no issue with that. In any case she slipped as she attempted to get up. I credited that to a missed step while attempting to get up from sitting in a corner for so long. At last, we make it to the motion pictures. This was a decent blood, ghoulish and horrible from start to finish. I heard wheezing so I looked over, and it is her. "Alright, no damage, no foul; she buckled down today," I said to myself.
A couple of minutes after the fact, she awakened and vomited on her self. In that moment I knew that I will never meet this girl. after that, I pretended having an emergency text from my friend, and I took my way to home laughing on that disaster date.

ReplyDeleteI was talking with a girl in Facebook for long time. In Valentine, we had the idea to go to a restaurant. It was the first time that I will go on a blind date. However, I had to pick her up from a place, I don’t remember his name, to a garden that was near the restaurant. After I was in the place, I could not recognized her. She was beautiful with a long black hair. She was my Valentine. We toke the car and went to the restaurant. Everything was going well till I got the call of one of my friends telling me that his brother is seek, and his parents were not in the house. This guy helps me when I had a problem with my parents and with my studies. I had to return him this favor, so I could not tell him no. I apologize from the girl and took my car to his house. We took the little boy to the hospital, and he could get better after. In the end, the little boy was good, and I took another date with the girl. It was really a full action Valentine.

The last year I was single so a Sara my best friend sent me to a blind date with a girl that he thinks will be perfect for me. I accepted this very uncommon and strange idea that I tested for the first time. I trusted her because she knows me for a very long time. I was afraid and excited at the same time because I didn’t know anything about the girl that I will meet. When I arrived to the restaurant I was shocked and surprised because it was my best friend who invited me for this date. At the beginning, it was very strange and awkward, I didn’t know what to say to her. She start to express her feelings. I didn’t believe all the things that happened this night, I hope that it was just a nightmare, but it was real and Sara was in love with me for a long time. I will never forget this night because all the things have changed with Sara and our relationship is not the same and I did not see her since this day.

ReplyDeleteThe Valentine's Day is an annual worldwide celebration that many people respect to show their love to a family member, partner or even a stranger. For me, three years ago, it was a blind date that was organized by my best friend. It was a Tuesday, February 14, and I had a date with one of the most beautiful girls in the world in one of the best local restaurant. She was the holder of an unimaginable purity, a broad mind and a unique beauty. The meeting went well, when suddenly my best friend called me. He was drunk because his girlfriend broke up with him, and he was screaming on the phone. I could not leave him alone to face this step, but I remained still a good ten minutes with the new girl I had just met. I finally apologized kindly to the young lady who was in front of me, and I explained to him what had happened to my best friend. She understood the situation, and she gave me her phone number. I finally joined my friend, and I comforted him and explained him that this girl does not deserved him and that he should not do what he was doing for her. At the end, I stayed in a relationship with this beautiful lady for 5 months.
